This week, the Islamic State executed another American journalist, Steven Sotloff. President Obama responded with tough words, but there still seems to be confusion within the http://amha.net/es/se-puede-comprar-sin-receta-en-holanda-kamagra/ administration about what exactly to do about the terrorist group. The president said that the goal is to eliminate the threat from the Islamic State, but can that be done just with air strikes and prednisolone en vente libre diplomacy?

Also this week, news came of a possible peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. Both Russian president Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko hinted at a deal in the works. But how much should we trust Putin to embrace a peace deal, and should we be willing to give up Ukrainian territory to Russia in exchange for peace?

Turning to domestic issues, this week the http://www.monteurzimmer-weilerswist.de/viagra-200mg-kaufen/ Justice Department announced that it will investigate the police department in Ferguson, Missouri, for possible civil rights violations related to hiring practices and enforcement tactics. The investigation is not directly related to the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in august. Is the Justice Department right to scrutinize the Ferguson police department, or are officials fishing for something?

Finally, the minimum wage was in the news again this week. Protests occurred in several cities as part of the “fight for 15” campaign, which seeks to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour. President Obama also spoke on the subject on Labor Day, voicing support for raising the minimum wage. However, such efforts are essentially dead on arrival with a Republican-controlled House. So are these efforts misguided? Why or why not?

Gregory Clay of GDClay.com, Mytheos Holt of the R Street Institute, conservative writer and editor Brian McNicoll, and Isaiah Poole of the Campaign for America’s Future will discuss these issues.
