Population Recap: Prepare Now?

Two weeks ago, PublicSquare.net hosted Steven Mosher from the Population Research Institute and http://theojedas.com/order-viagra-super-active/ Robert Walker of the Recommended Reading Population Institute. Viewers had a chance in a special segment to submit their questions to the guests.

The concept of overpopulation… for the human race is both fascinating and completely terrifying.  The idea of the possibility of running out of space on Earth seems completely unimaginable. But if the concept is viable, what happens next?

A viewer by the name of Zachary Wright watching the debate online submitted a question that stated,  “How exactly do you define the word overpopulation?”

Walker answered the Look At This statement regarding this question in a animated matter by answering the question with a question.

The first thing we have to answer for ourselves is what is the Earth capable of sustaining when it comes to the human population and for how long. Right now we have 7.2 billion people on the planet and so far it looks like we are doing fairly well. But well right now doesn’t mean we won’t be doing well later on….

We have ourselves enclosed in a classic case of what I like to call the “bubble.” It could be any type of bubble–an economic bubble, an environmental bubble, people get carried away thinking that they are fine because of how things are right now.

Walker in this debate defends the ideology that we should be preparing for the future and the potential risk of over population.

Mosher jets in a last word by saying, “You have been wrong for 50 years. How much more time do you need?”
