Sanford J. Ungar is director of the Free Speech Project at Georgetown University. He previously served as the 10th president of Goucher College and was director of the Voice of America. He served as dean of the School of Communication at American University and was an award-winning co-host of NPR’s All Things Considered. He is the author or editor of six nonfiction books.
